Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for shopping at Meatkin. We are committed to providing you with premium, hygienically processed fresh meats and items. Because our products are highly fresh and perishable, our policy is designed to balance absolute food safety with customer satisfaction.
1. Perishable Goods Policy
Due to the raw and fresh nature of our products, we do not accept returns or item replacements once the delivery has been successfully accepted by the customer. Fresh meat and perishable items cannot be restocked or re-cooled once they leave our temperature-controlled cold chain environment.
2. Order Cancellations
You can cancel your order **within 30 minutes** of placing it via our application or web platform. Once the order has moved into processing (such as customized cleaning, precise cutting, portioning, or final dispatch), we are unable to accept any cancellation requests.
3. Eligibility for Refunds or Replacements
You may request a refund, wallet credit, or a product replacement only in the following scenarios:
- Incorrect Order: The item delivered does not match your ordered selection.
- Quality Issues: The product received fails to meet our high freshness standards or is structurally damaged at the exact time of delivery.
- Missing Items: A specific item listed in your paid invoice was not handed over during delivery.
Note: Quality or freshness complaints must be verified and raised immediately with the delivery partner at the time of drop-off.
4. Damaged Items or Packaging Compromise
While we apply stringent standards to vacuum sealing and insulated packaging, if an item's wrap arrives ruptured or compromised, please report it to our delivery rider immediately. We will swiftly initiate a partial or full refund for the affected item.
5. Refund Process & Timelines
Once a refund claim is checked and approved by our support desk, the transaction value will be credited back to your original source payment method (Bank Account/UPI/Wallet) within **5–7 working days**. For any Cash on Delivery orders, the refund value will be processed directly via UPI transfer or added instantly as store credit.
6. Required Information for Review
To help us resolve your quality concern rapidly, please share:
- Order ID (available on your screen or SMS confirmation)
- A clear photo of the product and its packaging label (mandatory for quality or weight disputes)
- A short description of the issue faced
7. Delivery Refusal
If a scheduled delivery is turned away by the customer for reasons other than a damaged product, incorrect order, or massive logistics delay, Meatkin reserves the right to levy a cancellation fee to cover the sourcing and processing cost of the perishable item.
8. Governing Law
This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh.
